Podcast Highlights
Length: 21 minutes, 55 seconds
A self-made man, Bob Urichuck chose to hone his skills as a speaker. He believes that passion and speaking from the heart so that you help your audiences in some way is the best way to approach professional speaking. In this episode, he talks about his journey and a few ways that you can develop your skills as a speaker.
Bob Urichuck’s Big Tip: “What you need to do is build yourself up,” says Urichuck. What he does “is every time I failed I would seek out the lesson learned. When I have my lesson learned I tap myself on the shoulder, and I say, ‘Keep up the good work Bob. At least you had the courage to try something you never did before, and you got a lesson learned out of it.'” He says that courage “is giving yourself permission to fail and to learn from it. Failure is falling forward not falling backward.”
