Long Beach Resident, Carma Spence’s Book, “Public Speaking Super Powers”, Wins Silver Medal in 2019 eLit Book Awards

Featured Press ReleaseeLit Book AwardsLONG BEACH, CALIF (APRIL 27, 2019)—Public Speaking Super Powers, written by Long Beach, Calif., resident, Carma Spence, has earned a Silver Medal in the Self-Help category of the 2019 eLit Book award, an awards program dedicated to honoring the best e-books published each year for the North American market.

Spence’s book uses the metaphor of superheroes and their superpowers to talk about public speaking skills, techniques, and tools. The ebook edition became a Kindle bestseller in September 2018 the week it was released, and it was a Top 10 Finalist in the 2018 Author Academy Awards.

2019 Readers Choice AwardsIn addition, it is in the running for the 2019 Reader’s Choice Awards contest in the General Nonfiction Book Category. The Reader’s Choice Awards are administered by TCK Publishing and the book with the most votes by August 21st will win.
