Podcast Highlights
Length: 14 minutes, 55 seconds
Wendy Kinney, in a sense, pushed herself into public speaking. Being shy, she challenged herself to attend networking meetings to help her grow her business. During that journey, she learned some things that made her attractive as a speaker. In this episode, she talks about what she does to make it easy for meeting planners to book her for their events. You’ll definitely want to take notes!
Wendy Kinney’s Big Tip: Wendy advises using a speakers menu. This is a one page, PDF document that can be downloaded from your website or attached to an email. “It lists anywhere from three to nine catchy titles and it has about a one or two sentence description of what that presentation is right after it. It also needs to have a bio with it. And a picture is always good. Maybe an endorsement or two.”
