Several of my featured speakers talked about the Power of Humor. But for many, getting humor right is a challenge — myself included. Enter Brad Schreiber, author of What Are You Laughing At? How to Write Humor for Screenplays, Stories and More. I’ve asked him to be my guest in this episode to talk about adding humor to your presentations.
Brad has worked as a writer in books, TV, film, theater, radio and once wrote a humorous phone line called Dial an Insult. He has won awards from the Edward Albee Foundation, the National Press Foundation, International Book Awards and Independent Publisher Book Awards. He’s taught humor writing at the UCLA Extension Writers Program and many other subjects across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Brad has been V.P. for StoryTech Literary Consulting created by story structure expert Chris Vogler, and among Brad’s ten or so books, Becoming Jimi Hendrix is in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame library. He is also the author of the best-selling Weird Wonders and Bizarre Blunders.
