Given his mentalist background, Tim David is a master persuader, a skill he believes is key for speakers. It helps them persuade their audience and it helps them sell their services and book speaking gigs. In this episode, among other things, David shares an overview of his COMPELL model for persuasion.
Tim David’s Big Tip: There are two sides of confidence for speakers. On the one side, The “people who are listening to your training,” he says, “they need to have confidence in you in order for them to take seriously what you’re saying.” On the other, “you need to be confident in yourself. … You need to feel confident in order to portray confidence. And you need to have people feel confident in you, as well.”
